About Rise with the Prize

On Dec. 10, join peace builders around the globe to celebrate this year's Nobel Peace Prize and women's participation in building a secure world.

The Nobel Peace Prize ceremony will honor the “non-violent struggle for the safety of women” and “women’s rights to full participation in peace-building work.” In bestowing this award, the Nobel Committee has shined a light on the essential work of women preventing and stopping war across the globe. We join the Nobel Committee in recognizing the importance of women’s leadership to achieving sustainable peace.
